Torture Garden presents TGX - TG Fetish Club New Video

An epic, cinematic vision of Torture Garden’s 15th Anniversary Birthday Ball.

A unique journey into the forbidden underground environment of world’s most extreme nightclub:

  • 2600 of the worlds most dressed up clubbers
  • 30 incredible performances
  • 6 themed rooms
  • 1 night
  • 1 extraordinary party!

A DVD experience that is just like being there in the flesh!

In May 2005, The worlds largest and most famous fetish / body art club ‘Torture Garden’ (TG) teamed up with award winning director Mark J Blackman to film their largest ever party.

To celebrate its 15th Anniversary TG took over London's largest club venue - SeOne, which is situated in the massive railway arches under London Bridge train station. They transformed the venue into an eclectic mix of 6 clubs within a club: Fashion Arena, Body Art Arena, Cabaret Arena, Burlesque Ballroom, Dungeon & Playrooms.

The massive event featured the largest international performance line-up ever assembled by TG.

TGX features:
Extreme Performance & Body Art by Suka Off (Poland) & Art Kor (France)
Twisted Cabaret & Burlesque by Empress Stah, Esme & Venol King, Paloma, Jonny Stud Bunny, Sefi & Roxy Velvet, Couture Fetish Fashion by Torture Garden Clothing, HW Designs (Austria), Puimond (US), House of Harlot, Inner Sanctum & Pretty Pervy

Japanese Bondage & Medical Installations by Satomi (Japan), Kazaya, Mistress Olivia & E Vie
Live Voodoo Swing by Flaming Doo Dits starring Lucifire & Tia Maria
Plus Fire, Walkabout & Wrestling by Flaming Fun, Psycho Clowns & Amrita (Japan)

But as usual at TG, the fantastic crowd themselves are the stars of the show.

The brief was to explore the unique atmosphere of a normally secretive underground scene, and capture the raw energy of just one night and the essence of TG.

The creativity of the crowd, the diversity of human sexuality, the intensity of the performers and most of all the sheer fun and pleasure of a fantastic night out.

The electrifying soundtrack features Circus Sideshow, Electro, Ritual, Booty Bass, Ambient & Techno including:

Tiger Lillies, Noblesse Oblige, Flesh Fetish, Von Magnet, Fuel, Mee & more.

DVD Extras includes:

  • Feature length commentary by the Director and David and Allen from Torture Garden
  • TGXplained – An interview with David and Allen TG
  • Trailers
  • TG Japan Footage
  • Deleted Scene
  • Stills Gallery

Director - M.J. Blackman (BA HONS)

A visceral, prolific filmmaker, Blackman works tirelessly at creating works of profound emotional intensity and memorable - and apt - visual styling.

He has worked professionally as a news cameraman, editor, set designer and opening credits creator, as well as writer and director on over a dozen short films and one digital feature. He currently works as a promo producer/director for a renowned, multi-award winning production company based in London, and has worked for the likes of Fremantle,

Paramount, MTV and many, many others. His contributions to the industry have seen him win numerous awards, including best newcomer in 2006.

He cites Chaplin, Kitano, Noe & Kurosawa as being amongst his influences, and works happily (and and works happily (and successfully) across all mediums, be it film or digital.

His films are often noted for their darkly romanticized view of the world, as well as their unusual harmony between kinetic camerawork, silent restraint, haunting soundscapes and strong female characters. He is 24.
